Legacy Episode 2007-Nov-01 – Author Ken Rand

Ken Rand

Ken Rand, author, at CONduit 17 in Salt Lake C...

1946 – 2009

Ken’s work with over 100 books and short story from sci-fi to the weird to the politics from the mind of a great friend we lost in 2009 to cancer.  Even in death Ken was a teacher as he donated his body to science.   Our sit down is a comedy of errors for sure but Ken is such a great guy I wanted to share this with our fans as well.   Ken works live on even with the passing of his mortal body.  You can find his  published works here and many short stories. We hope you enjoy a truly down to earth man and fellow sci-fi geek as well.

Conduit 2008 ~ Theresa Mather

t.m

Theresa Mather has been a professional artist since 1989. She sat down with iSCIFI.tv and talked about how one creates and collects art and what influenced her to start and continue to create some very cool artwork.

You can read more about Theresa on her web sites at http://www.rockfeatherscissors.com/

Chronicles of Conduit ~ 2008

Conduit XVIII or Chronicles of Conduit was held at the Radisson Hotel in Salt Lake City Utah.

I met with some very cool people Friday night (23-May-2008).

L.E Modesitt http://www.lemodesittjr.com/

Theresa Mather http://www.rockfeatherscissors.com/

Beveraly Hale http://www.bevhale.com

and Eric James Stone http://www.ericjamesstone.com

I spent a few minutes with each of these wonderful people and I will be publishing their interviews shortly. Stay tuned. iSCIF.tv has been busy , ok so mr hnack has been in time-warp for a few days.

its 12:35am , watch for typos!

I also sat on a panel Friday afternoon talking about ‘How to podcast your work’. It was an hour long panel and time flew so fast. We had several questions on how to get started, what format and length works best. I had questions for Howard Tayler and Brandon Sanderson! They write, create full time and I felt a bit overwhelm being on a panel when we had experts in the audience as well!
